Hence, we will be talking about how to automate sales in order to master this art.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">All of those things are important, but it\u2019s a combination of speed and quality of response that ensures success in sales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">Consider these stats.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">Firstly, it\u2019s important to understand how powerful actually getting on the call and talking to your client is. So much so that studies find <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.thebrevetgroup.com\/21-mind-blowing-sales-stats\" rel=\"nofollow\">92% of all customer interactions<\/a> happen over the phone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">Combine this with the fact that <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.thebrevetgroup.com\/21-mind-blowing-sales-stats\" rel=\"nofollow\">35 to 50% of sales<\/a> go to the first-in-line vendor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">Then, consider that, as a salesperson, you\u2019ll only spend about one-third of your day on average actually talking to prospects. The <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.hubspot.com\/news-trends\/how-salespeople-learn?_ga=2.155774971.1961534476.1554222213-807962934.1553624067\" rel=\"nofollow\">rest of that day<\/a> is spent writing emails (21%), entering data (17%), prospecting and researching leads (17%), going to meetings (12%) going to internal meetings, and scheduling calls (12%).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>So, breaking down these stats, there are two approaches that could impact your sales success.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">Firstly, consider the amount of time you spend doing menial repetitive tasks. Based on these statistics, about 40% of that time is probably spent doing typically repetitive tasks like writing emails, data entry, and scheduling calls. If you could automate even half of that, you\u2019d have a lot more time to focus on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cloudtalk.io\/blog\/10-tips-to-increase-call-center-sales\">getting on calls and selling.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">Secondly, consider your process for selling. Have a conversation. Zaps are made up of a couple of important parts: triggers and actions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">Triggers are basically events that cause Zapier to think \u201cOh! I need to do something now\u201d, and actions are whatever is done next.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">In this case, we want to set a new lead in Outgrow as the trigger, and run a specific checklist in Process Street as the action.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Setting up Outgrow as a trigger in Zapier<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">First things first, head on over to Zapier and make sure you\u2019re all signed in.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">Then, click the orange \u201cMake a Zap!\u201d button in the top right.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">Search for \u201cOutgrow\u201d and select \u201cNew Lead\u201d as the trigger, like so:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-53068 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/outgrow.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/outgrow-trigger-ew-300x148.gif\" alt=\"outgrow-trigger-new\" width=\"711\" height=\"351\" srcset=\"https:\/\/outgrow.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/outgrow-trigger-ew-300x148.gif 300w, https:\/\/outgrow.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/outgrow-trigger-ew-768x378.gif 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 711px) 100vw, 711px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">Now you must link your Outgrow account with Zapier.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">To do this you\u2019ll need your API key, which can be found under Settings &gt; API Key in your Outgrow account. Simply copy the key and paste it into the field in Zapier.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">Once you\u2019re all linked up, you need to set up your Outgrow lead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">This step requires that you already have some data in your Outgrow account. API<\/a>\u201d tab of the organization you wish to add.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 14pt;\">Just click the \u201cNew API Key\u201d button and copy the code into your clipboard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;
