Truth be told, most product surveys are terrible.

You send out a 25-question survey that contains such beauties as “How satisfied are you with our product on a scale of 1-10?” and you get a 4% response rate. The answers you do get? Useless.

A “7” doesn’t tell you what’s broken. It doesn’t tell you what to build next. It simply says that someone clicked a number so they could close the tab.
