Well, we are super excited to announce our brand-new integration with Beehiiv, one of the modern email newsletter platforms. With this great integration, one can easily fill the gap between one’s Outgrow content and the account in Beehiiv through seamless connectivity.

What is Beehiiv?

Before we dive into the integration, let’s give a quick intro to Beehiiv. It’s an all-in-one-in-one platform created to help creators and businesses alike build, manage, and grow their email newsletters. Getting Started with Outgrow and Beehiiv Integration

To successfully integrate Outgrow with Beehiiv, you will need the following:

• Outgrow Account: Ensure you have an active subscription plan on your Outgrow account.

• Beehiiv Account: You must have an active Beehiiv account to proceed with the integration.

• Live Outgrow Content Piece: Make sure you have a live content piece created in Outgrow, as the integration is applied to specific content.

How to Configure the Integration

To link Outgrow and Beehiiv, follow these step-by-step instructions:

1. Log in to Your Outgrow Account

First, sign in to your Outgrow account. Choose the content piece you want to integrate with Beehiiv.

2. Open the Content in Build Mode

Once you’ve selected the content piece, click on “Build Mode” to access the editing and configuration options.

3. Navigate to the Configuration Tab

Next, click on the Configure tab. Within the Configure section, go to the Integrations sub-tab.

4. Find Beehiiv Integration

Under the Integrations sub-tab, scroll down to the Native Integrations section. Look for the Beehiiv integration option.

5. Configure Beehiiv Integration

Once you find Beehiiv integration, click on the Configure icon. This will open the integration configuration window.

6. Authenticate with Beehiiv

In the configuration window, you will see the option to Authenticate With Beehiiv. To authenticate, you’ll need to provide your Beehiiv credentials, specifically your Publication ID and API Key.

7. Obtain Your Beehiiv Publication ID and API Key

If you don’t have your Beehiiv Publication ID and API Key yet, follow these steps to retrieve them:

• A. Log into your Beehiiv account.
• B. Navigate to your account settings or the integrations section.
• C. Look for the API Keys or Developer Tools area.
• D. Here, you can either generate a new API Key and Publication ID or locate the existing ones.

Once you have these details, return to Outgrow and enter them into the respective fields. Remember, the Account Name you choose here is just for reference within Outgrow and can be anything you prefer.

8. Map Outgrow Fields to Beehiiv

After authenticating, you will need to map the relevant fields from your Outgrow content to the corresponding fields in Beehiiv. This ensures the data will sync correctly between the two platforms.

Once you’ve mapped the fields, click on Test Connection to verify the integration and confirm that the field mappings are correct.

9. Configure Double Opt-In (Optional)

If you need to implement double opt-in for your leads, you can configure this setting at this stage. If not, simply click Finish to save the configuration and activate the integration.

Important Note: Double-Check Your Credentials

To avoid any errors during authentication, ensure that your Beehiiv Publication ID and API Key are entered accurately. This is crucial for a successful integration.

Additional Integration Actions

Once you have successfully configured and activated the integration, you can manage and monitor your Beehiiv integration by accessing the Beehiiv block in Outgrow. Here are the available actions:

1. Reconfigure Integration

If you ever need to update your Beehiiv credentials or if you want to connect a different Beehiiv account, you can use the Reconfigure option. This is necessary to continue receiving Outgrow leads in your Beehiiv account.

2. View Field Mapping

To review the field mappings between Outgrow and Beehiiv, click on the View Mapping option. This is useful if you need to check or update the data being transferred between the two platforms.

3. Task History

This section displays all the leads that have been sent to Beehiiv. Each lead will have a status indicating whether it was successfully synced. If a lead fails to sync, it will appear under the Failed status. In such cases, you can re-sync the lead after reconfiguring the integration. Leads that are still in the process of being synced will show a Waiting status.

4. Filter Leads

You can use the Filter option to search for leads by their First Name, Last Name, or Email Address. This makes it easy to quickly verify if a particular lead has been successfully sent to Beehiiv.

By following these steps, you can seamlessly integrate Outgrow with Beehiiv and ensure that your lead data flows smoothly between the two platforms.
